Plot : Anacondas: Trail of Blood starts from where Anaconda 3 had left. Amanda Haynes, the herpetologist, comes to know about the ulterior motives of her employer Murdoch. She realizes this when in order to get a fresh harvest of blood orchids, he hires a doctor. Murdoch wants to use the regenerative nectar on a baby snake so that he could treat his chronic illness. As soon as Amanda comes to know about these facts, she secretly calls another team of scientists to assist her. In the meantime, the baby snake when fed on blood orchids regenerates into a huge monstrous snake. The snake accidently gets cut into two halves and two snakes are born. They escape to the town and go on a rampage causing harm to lives and properties. Amanda and the team of scientists try to get past the heavily armed men of Murdoch to retrieve the blood orchids before the anacondas cause further destruction.
