Plot : American Dreamz is comedy movie that satirizes reality shows and the way people now days are attracted more towards spicy things. Faltering American President Staton (Dennis Quaid) hasn’t read the newspaper since he was elected in office four years back. The day he was re-elected, he suddenly feels the desire to examine the world and form his own opinions. Thus he decides to read the newspaper and locks himself in a room for weeks. The loyal Wise President Sutter is the one who does all his work for him. Thinking that the President has had a nervous breakdown, he makes some efforts to bring him back on the track. Thus Sutter books him as a guest judge on the TV show named American Dreamz which is also the President’s favorite. Martin Tweed (Hugh Grant) the host of the show meanwhile is looking for a weird bunch of contestants. The ones who reach the finals are Sally (Mandy Moore) who had left her boyfriend to fulfill her dream of becoming a singer and Omar who is an Arabian and unexpectedly ended up becoming the participant of the show. A live show is planned that anyone would have never watched before.
