Plot : The new Alice in Wonderland is an effort to keep this fantasy based tale by Lewis Carroll as fresh and alive as ever. The movie has managed to present the evergreen concept penned down by Lewis Carroll in most interesting manner. This time story is a bit different and more imaginative. Directing this movie was not a child’s play at all. The direction responsibility was shared between three distinct individuals comprising of Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson and Hamilton Luske. The movie’s captivating story starts at a time when Alice has already turned nineteen and is about to getting engaged with uninteresting and haughty Lord Hamish. But before this ceremony is completed Alice sees a white rabbit with a pocket watch. She follows him into a maze and reaches a place called Wonderland hidden from the normal world. There she meets her old friends and remembers the times when she had earlier visited this place. Soon she learns that her help is needed to dethrone the wicked Red Queen who was now ruling the Wonderland instead of her humble and kind sister White Queen. Moreover, the residents of Wonderland believe that only Alice can kill the terrorizing Dragon which Red Queen employs to harass the residents.
