Plot : “Adela” is a foreign drama directed by Adolfo Borinaga Alix Jr. The movie presents a heart-rending look on life of a former radio personality. Adela (Anita Linda) is a loving, caring and kind-hearted 79-year-old lady. Although the place, where she is living, appears gloomy and somber, but her spirits are high as she hopes that she would be able to celebrate her 80th birthday with her loved ones-the grandchildren of her eldest son and her daughter. Her inner strength is so immense that even after living alone for years, she has always managed to secure a dignity for herself. The stumbling blocks of her life even didn’t succeed in destroying her zest of living life with energy and zeal. In Adela video, it is later presented that the old lady helps her neighbor in giving birth to a child. Feeling overwhelmed with her help, her neighbor decides to include her in their celebration. When Adela arrives back home and starts doing her daily chores again, she feels down in dumps because of the haunting loneliness, prevailing around her. As all her family members have been thrown apart from her, due to certain reasons, she has no other option left, than to live alone.
