Plot : Directed by Miguel Arteta, Youth in Revolt is a romantic comedy drama about a teenager dreaming about losing his virginity to his dream girl. Nick Twisp (Michael Cera) is a teenager who is wise beyond his years and as such finds himself constantly getting into trouble. His trailer trash parents George (Steve Buscemi) and Estelle (Jean Smart) are hovering on the edge of divorce. A sexually charged Nick meets his dream girl Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday), during a family vacation and is instantly smitten. As he dreams of losing his virginity to Sheeni with whom he wants to spend his maximum time, Nick not only turns his own life but the lives of those associated with him into a chaos.
