Plot : The Tale of Despereaux is based on the 2003s children bestseller of the same name.  Despereaux Tilling (Matthew Broderick), a brave and virtuous mouse, who is expelled from his home for not following the rules of the society. Despereaux befriends Roscuro (Dustin Hoffman), a good-hearted rat, who is also an outcast and dreams of living in a world far away from the underground dungeons. They then set out to rescue the endangered Princess Pea (Emma Watson), while his  painful rejection of highness causes Roscuro to take the path of self destruction. During their extraordinary journey, the two peculiar heroes encounter a serving girl wanting to be a princess as well as the evil leader of the sewer rats, who plans to take revenge on humans.
