Plot : The Other End of the Line is a romantic comedy directed by James Dodson that tells the tale of an Indian girl who falls in love with a man from San Francisco, on the phone. Priya Sethi (Shriya Saran) works in a call center of a credit card company and is engaged to get married. During her routine work she converses with Granger Woodruff (Jesse Metcalfe), while helping him with his credit card issues and the two instantly connect over the phone. It is then that she decides to travel to San Francisco to meet him, without revealing her true identity, which threatens to add further troubles to their already struggling relationship.
