Plot : An updated version of the 1927, Alfred Hitchcock classic of the same name, The Lodger is a thrilling horror mystery about a cop trying to apprehend a serial killer on the loose. Chandler Mannings single-minded dedication to police work has alienated him from his daughter Amanda and his suicidal wife Margaret. Manning, with the help of his rookie partner Street Wilkenson, is now pursuing a ruthless killer who has slaughtered many prostitutes along West Hollywood Sunset Strip in a manner similar to a legendary killer Jack-the-Ripper. Meanwhile, a psychologically unstable woman named Ellen takes on a mysterious lodger (Simon Baker) who is suspected of being behind the killings.
