Plot : Haunting in Connecticut is a thrilling horror movie that is inspired from the real life story of a family who came under supernatural attack after moving into their new home that was previously a funeral home. The story revolves around Sara (Virginia Madsen) and Peter Campbell (Martin Donovan) who relocate to be near the clinic where their son is getting treatment for cancer. Soon their son, Matt (Kyle Gallner) starts experiencing a series of disturbing events and the family learns that Jonah (Erik J. Berg), the original owner of the funeral parlor, which is now their home, served as a gateway for restless spirits seeking to cross over into the physical realm. To save Matt and her family from the evil horrors unleashed by Jonah, Sarah seeks the help of the enigmatic priest Popescu (Elias Koteas) .
