Plot : Directed by Sean McGinly, The Great Buck Howard is a comedy about a young man who becomes an assistant of an entertainer whose career is at its lowest. Troy Gable (Colin Hanks) ponders over his future after dropping out from law school. His interest in working in the entertainment business lands him the job of a personal assistant to a celebrity performer Buck Howard (John Malkovich), whose career is on the decline and who is struggling to gain back his lost glory. Hired along with Troy, is Valerie (Emily Blunt), the new publicist for Buck Howard. The three set together on a journey to ensure Howard’s return to fame, while Troy and Valerie discover new feelings for each other.
