Plot : The Escapist is a thrilling movie directed by Rupert Wyatt about a convicted criminal who plans to escape from the prison. Frank (Brian Cox) is sentenced to life imprisonment without parole, and comes to terms with his prison life after acknowledging his guilt. However, when Frank learns about his daughter being seriously ill due to drug overdose, he feels a powerful need to reconnect with his estranged family. As a result he makes a plan to escape from the prison, with the help of other inmates including Viv (Seu Jorge), Lenny (Joseph Fiennes) and Lacey (Dominic Cooper). However, he soon learns that for his plan to succeed he has to enlist the help of the brothers, Rizza (Damian Lewis) and Tony (Steven Mackintosh) who are amongst the prison’s most dangerous, unpredictable, vicious and corrupt inmates.
