Plot : The Baader Meinhof Complex, a historical action crime drama directed by Uli Edel, that takes a look at the German terrorist group, better known as the Red Army Faction. The very fragile German Democracy is threatened the deadly bomb attacks, terrorism and an internal enemy that is shaking its very foundations. Andreas Baader (Moritz Bleibtreu), Ulrike Meinhof (Martina Gedeck) and Gudrun Ensslin (Johanna Wokalek), lead the fanatical offsprings of the Nazi generation into fighting aggressively against American imperialism supported by the German establishment, which they take to be the new form of fascism. In order to create a more human society, they are ready even to use inhuman means to spread terror and bloodshed, little realizing that in the process they are loosing their own humanity. And the one, who understands them, is Horst Herold (Simon Licht), the head of the German police force, who is looking for them. He relentlessly hunts for the young terrorists, knowing very well that they only form the tip of the iceberg.
