Plot : Directed by Scott Hamilton Kennedy, an Academy award nominated documentary ‘The Garden’ is all about a 14-acre community garden and urban farm in Los Angeles, California. The movie throws light on the dilemma of the farmers mostly Latinos who worked on this track of urban wasteland to turn it into a modern miracle. Their lives are thrown into chaos when their Eden in threatened by the greedy landowner who wants to build warehouses there. This touching documentary is about the dignity, determination and never-say-die spirit of the farmers who refuse to give up this 14 acre patch without putting up a fight.
