Plot : Directed by Pierre Morel, Taken is a thrilling crime based action movie about a former spy who tries to rescue his daughter from forced slavery. Retired secret service agent Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is reluctantly convinced by his seventeen year-old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) into signing an authorization, granting the kid the permission to travel to Paris with her friend named Amanda. However, Brian regrets his decision as just after getting a call from Kim, she and Amanda are kidnapped by an Albanese gang dealing in human trafficking. As Brian travels to Paris to rescue his daughter, he relies on his skills acquired as a secret agent to piece together clues that will take him to the darkness of Paris’s underworld as well as the plushest mansions of the City of Lights.
