Plot : Step Brothers is comedy about two spoilt men who compete with each other after their single parents marry. Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) and Dale Doback (John C. Reilly) are both around forty and still live with their single parents. They find themselves sharing a room after their parents marry. When their hostility threatens not only to break the peace of the house but also the relationship of the newlyweds, they get an ultimatum to find a job within a week or get out of the house. It is then that the two step brothers make a pact after realizing their common passion for music, which results in friendship between the two but does not end the disarray in the household.
