Plot : Moving slightly away from the gruesome murders that are a trademark of the Saw series, Saw V has the usual intriguing twists and unexpected plot lines. The movie focused mainly on introducing the replacement of the original killer Jigsaw, who faced his death in Saw III. As FBI Agent Strahm, investigates the apparent continuation of the Jigsaw murders, he comes to suspect Detective Hoffman of being related to the mystery in one way or the other. During the course of his investigations, Strahm has a narrow escape from death while Jigsaws ex-wife receives a video tape accompanied by a baffling box that makes her to run off. Later, a group of five strangers find themselves trapped in Jigsaws lair and it is now up to Strahm to uncover the mystery.
