Plot : Directed by Jon Avnet, Righteous Kill is about two veteran New York Police Detectives, David Fisk and Thomas Cowan played by Al Pacino and Robert De Niro who trail a serial killer who kills sociopathic criminals. As they battle with their personal issues and team up with a much younger and sexy on-the-scene investigator played by Carla Gugino, one question keeps on nagging their minds. They try to ascertain whether the case they had solved years earlier has any connection with the current crimes and if they have committed the atrocious oversight of putting an innocent man behind the bars for the crimes he never committed.
