Plot : Rachel Getting Married, a romantic drama directed by Jonathan Demme that tells the tale of an estranged daughter who returns to her family to attend her sister’s marriage. Kym (Anne Hathaway), is set free from the rehab to enable her to attend the wedding of her sister Rachel (Rosemarie DeWitt). Even though the sisters genuinely love one another, Kym’s turbulent past of personal misfortunes and the family differences create some sort of tension between them. Rachel believes that her father is more affectionate towards Kym while Kym is displeased by the fact that Rachel has chosen a friend to be her maid of honor. Meanwhile their father truly worried about the welfare of Kym, but does not seem to be aware of the stress that his anxiety is causing. In addition the sisters have to cope with their selfish mother, who puts her interests before that of her kids. And behind the family's activities is a disaster that from the past, which some hold Kym responsible for.
