These valiant women demanded termination of civil war, by making use of their conviction and determination as weapons. The group is formed under the leadership of Leymah Gbowee. They all then staged a non-violent protest, impelling President Charles Taylor to attend peace talks in Ghana. Their dedication and continuous efforts at last paved them a way to achieve their mission. The movie shows that the struggle of over 3000 women didn’t go in vain and after 14 years, they got rewarded with dissolution of war.
