Plot : ‘No reservations’ is a romantic comedy directed by Scott Hicks. The movie features the kitchen queen Kate, who is an excellent chef at a Manhattan restaurant, owned by Paula. However, after being fed up by Kate’s cold, unyielding and rule-bound attitude towards her passion, (that’s just cooking and controlling her kitchen) owner Paula sends her for therapy to have a relaxation. Then after the sudden death of Kate’s only sister, turned No reservations video to another sensation; which makes her the guardian of her 10 year-old niece Zoe. Little girl who’s left all alone after her mother’s death becomes Kate’s responsibility now, and on the suggestion of her owner Paula, Kate takes a couple of days off to care of Zoe. On coming back, the presence of another sub-chef Nick completely drives her mad. When Nick shows his honor for Kate’s work, she does not trust him and hates his actions. Later, with the help of Zoe’s efforts to unite them and the real appreciation that she receives from the clients for his work melts Kate’s heart, and she apologizes for committing the mistake.
