Plot : Napoleon Dynamite is a comedy movie directed by Jared Hess based on his earlier short film. The movie revolves around an unpopular high school student Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder). He lives in the rural town of Preston, Idaho with his elder brother, Kip (Aaron Ruell), Uncle Rico (Jon Gries) and his grand mother. He has a bizarre family life with his brother Kip, a geek who is seeking his soul mate in online chat rooms. His former athlete uncle is equally vain who goes to the extent of using Napoleon’s name to sell breast-enhancement products to his school-mates. Napoleon also has a friend Deb (Tina Majorino) who breaks up with him after his uncle tries to sell a product to her. He spends most of his time drawing pictures of imaginary animals, playing tetherball by himself and feeding his grandmother’s llama. His life takes a turn when he befriends a transfer student from Mexico. Pedro (Efren Ramirez) decides to run for class president against Summer Wheatley (Haylie Duff) who is a popular girl. Napoleon’s efforts to ensure the win of his friend ultimately make him popular and change his life for better.
