Plot :  The documentary "Moving Midway" is directed by Godfrey Cheshire. It chronicles two families including Godfrey Cheshire’s family and his cousin Charlie Silver’s family. These families rarely get-together, as they live at quite far-off places. At Christmas, Godfrey, who lives in New York, visits his cousin’s family at Raleigh, North Carolina. Meantime his cousin tells him that he and his wife Dena have decided to relocate to Midway. Charlie has been a caretaker of Godfrey’s inherited house and Midway plantation. But now he wants to change the old looks of Midway by uprooting the plantation, which hurts a lot to Godfrey. Charlie’s this plan becomes the subject of controversy for Godfrey’s family, who want to keep it safe as a heritage house. They don’t want that their heritage house should be renovated, as there are lots of memories of Godfrey’s childhood attached to this house. While he is in this house, it drives him back in his childhood. Godfrey finds the Midway a magical place, where he remembers the stories told by his mother when he was a child.
