Plot : “Me and Orson Welles” is a romantic foreign adaptation directed by Richard Linklater. The movie takes viewers in the year 1937, when a high school young aspiring student, Richard Samuels decides to visit New York City. After reaching there, he meets Gretta Adler and develops a close bonding with her. They both join hands to achieve their aim in the field of creative arts. Then Richard further continues his trip and staggers across a Mercury theater. He gets a way to fulfill his dream as Orson Welles gives him a chance to play a role as Lucius in a play, which is actually a contemporary retelling of renowned play ‘Julius Caesar’. The charge of production of this show is all under the wings of Welles. He believes that whatever he wants, he can do that and everybody has to follow his instructions without any opposition. Richard and the Orson video shows that Richard has to work under the guidance of Sonja Jones. But at night before the opening ceremony, as Richard gets to know the kind of person Welles actually is, he has to decide whether he should go with that production or chose his own way.
