Plot : Last Chance Harvey is a romantic drama directed by Joel Hopkins. The story revolves around Harvey Shine (Dustin Hoffman), a jingle writer from New York who is given a last chance to deliver by his boss (Richard Schiff). Over the weekend he goes to London to attend his daughter’s (Liane Balaban) wedding, but promises to be back for an important meeting on Monday morning. However, Harvey is heartbroken by the fact that his daughter chooses her stepfather to walk her down the aisle, misses his return flight, and ends up losing his job. While drowning down his sorrows in airport bar, he meets and strikes up a conversation with Kate (Emma Thompson), and the two falls in love with each other.
