Plot : Kassim the Dream, a documentary directed by Kief Davidson, tells the story of Kassim "The Dream" Ouma, a World Champion Boxer. Kassim was born in Uganda and at the age of six was kidnapped by the rebel army. When the rebels came to power, Kassim had to carry out many terrible atrocities as an army soldier. But he soon found his way to freedom when he leant about the army's boxing team. After enduring 12 years of conflict, Kassim migrated to USA, where he made a fast rise in the boxing ranks to become the World’s Junior Middleweight Champion. Now, 27 years old Kassim seems to have got it all through his cheerful nature, reputation and modern lifestyle. But even as he prepares for another world title fight against Jermain Taylor, he is distracted by his aspiration to reunite with his family in Uganda. But for that, he has to first obtain a military pardon from the president and government, that was responsible for his abduction
