Plot : Directed and penned by Paolo Sorrentino, Il Divo is an Italian movie centering on Giulio Andreotti, a former Italian Prime Minister. Movie is set in Rome and chronicles the story of Giulio Andreotti who has been a member of parliament seven times since 1946, the time when it was established till he is tried for Mafia ties only to be exonerated. In 2008, the movie was nominated for the Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and was awarded the Prix du Jury.
