Plot : Based on the autobiographical novel by Shamim Sarif, I Cant Think Straight is directed by the author herself. The story revolves around Tala (Lisa Ray), a London-based Jordanian whose parents are preparing for her elaborate wedding in her home country. But Tala meets and falls in love with her best friend Alis (Rez Kempton) girlfriend, Leyla (Sheetal Sheth). However, Talas sense of duty and cultural restraint, forces her to leave Leyla and fly back to Jordan to attend her wedding only to come back just before the ceremony. Meanwhile a bereaved, Leyla has to overcome her own inhibitions to win back Tala.
