Plot : Hotel for Dogs is a family comedy directed by Thor Freudenthal and adapted from a children book of the same name by Lois Duncan about two kids who secretly look after nine street dogs in a vacant hotel. Andi (Emma Roberts) and her younger brother, Bruce (Jake T. Austin) are orphans and are disheartened when they are prevented by their new guardians from having any pets. While looking for a new home for their dog named Friday, Andi and Bruce come across an abandoned hotel, which they transform into a magical dog-paradise, for Friday and his friends. To avoid the neighbors from becoming suspicious, Andi and Bruce use various inventions to keep their little secret safe.
