Plot : This is a remake of the super-hit movie of 1980 with the same title, but the new version has been slightly adapted, to match the tastes of the modern day generation. The movie follows the life and dreams of the budding talents, who enroll at the New York School of Performing Arts. It is their story through the four years of school - from freshman year to senior and then the eventual graduation. The school is a perfect training ground for young talents to understand their interests and make professional careers out of it. The movie captures the emotions and strife of a varied group of artists, who want to excel in the fields that they are passionate about, and get lasting fame. The students are tested via tough schedules, hard work and high expectations from the teachers, while dealing with their own personal issues. There are some, who struggle with perfection in their performances, while others try to cope with parental pressures. Denise is an excellent piano player and is discovered as a singer. Malik cuts an album with her and Victor, another student of music. Joy finally gets selected in an audition and lands a role in a sitcom. There is a budding romance between Jenny and Marco. Kevin is driven to the brink of suicide, because of his teacher’s harsh comments. Alice, a great dancer, drops out and decides to go on a world tour before graduation. All this and more awaits you on the road to Fame!
