Plot : Eragon is of the genre CGI Fantasy – adventure. It is based on the novel named Eragon written by Christopher Paolini. Edward Speleers plays the title role of Eragon in the movie. A good balance of CGI is maintained throughout the film. The movie is directed by debutant director Stefen Fangmeier.The story is of a simple teenager named Eragon who lives in Carvahall, which is a fictional and magical village of Alagaesia. The land is filled with dragons and other fictional characters and animals. On one of the events Eragon finds a dragon egg, he gets it home. Upon hatching a blue dragon named sapphire emerges from the dragon egg. Eragon wants to keep the dragon to himself. But Galbotorix, the tyrant king of Alagaesia wants the dragon. Henceforth Eragon flees from home. He returns after sometime to learn that his uncle Garrow has been killed. He learns the art of fighting, archery, sword fighting, magic and all other arts with one needs to fulfil the legend of dragon flyers. How Eragon with all his might helps Varden to out throw Galbatorix forms the climax of the story.
