Plot : Empty Nest is a comedy drama, directed by Daniel Burman about a couple dealing with their empty home and their relationship in totally different manner after their children move out to be on their own. For years, Leonardo (Oscar Martínez) and Martha (Cecilia Roth) have been envied as the perfect couple. Leonardo has been a renowned writer while Martha has been an overzealous housewife who has nurtured her three children and maintained long friendships. But their youngest child Julia (Ines Efron), leaves after she gets married, Leonardo and Martha are left alone in their house to face the little grievances and annoyances that were not much important before. As they both begin to question their happiness, Martha goes back to completing her studies and soon becomes, entangled in her new social circle. On the other hand, Leonardo finds himself facing midlife crises and takes refuge in fantasies about other women which become undistinguishable from the real world.
