Plot : Directed by Bouli Lanners, Eldorado is a comedy drama about two different people bought together under strange circumstances. Yvan (Bouli Lanners) makes a decent living by working as an auto salesman. One day he returns home to find a burglar named Elie (Fabrice Adde), hiding under his bed. On confronting Elie, Yvan finds him to be a junkie and feels pity for him. On learning that the would-be criminal cannot get back home with the little money he has, Yvan decides to give Elie a lift to his parent’s house. However, while on the road Yvan’s car breaks down and is repaired by the two Samaritans who insist on sharing some drinks with Yvan and Elie. Yvan becomes intoxicated and ends up wrecking his car as he dozes off while driving, leading Elie and him to be at the mercy of two strangers in a camper.
