Plot : Defiance is a thrilling action war drama, directed by Edward Zwick, based on a true story about three brothers. Three Jewish brothers Tuvia (Daniel Craig), Zus (Live Schreiber), and Asael (Jamie Bell) miraculously escape death at the hands of the Nazis. They find refuge in the dense forests of their neighborhood, which has been their play ground since childhood. As they struggle to survive and defend themselves from the Nazis and the Soviet partisans, the word about their daring spreads. This results in bringing in other Jews – men and women, young and old – who are willing to risk everything to enjoy even one moment's freedom. With Tuvia becoming the leader of the group, Zus feels that his plan will bring about the group's downfall, while Asael finds himself caught in the crossfire of his older siblings' rivalry.
