Plot : Death in Love, a drama flick directed by Boaz Yakin, is about the repercussions on the lives of the children of an inmate of a concentration camp, due to her love affair with a Nazi doctor. A Jewish woman (Jacqueline Bisset), held captive in a Nazi concentration camp, manages to survive as she becomes romantically involved with the doctor responsible for carrying out human experiments in the camp. Later she migrates to New York after getting married, and brings up her two emotionally underdeveloped sons. Her eldest son (Josh Lucas) struggles with his sense of detachment from life while working at a fraudulent modeling agency. His psychosexual experiences and intellectual discourse prevent him from bonding with the outside world. Just when everything seems so hopeless, a pleasant young co-worker (Adam Brody) makes him realize that to survive, the changes in life need to be accepted. Meanwhile, the phobic younger son (Lukas Haas) is locked in a compulsive, inter-reliant living with his mother that threatens to destroy them both.
