Plot : The Dead Girl, a thrilling mystery drama directed by Karen Moncrieff, tells the story of how the terrible actions of the people around her finally lead to being savagely killed. Arden, a middle aged lady, finds the abandoned dead body of a young woman on her property and informs the police. She is then invited on a date by Rudy, an employee at the supermarket, which she accepts. Meanwhile, as the coroner Leah prepares the dilapidated body for autopsy, she believes that it is that of her sister who had been missing for fifteen years. Later, Leah learns that the dead girl is named Krista and she tries to convince her mother Beverly that her sister is dead. A woman finds evidence which convinces her that her husband might be a serial killer. Krista’s mother Melora, who tries to locate her daughter, meets her prostitute roommate Rosetta, and learns about Ashley, her grand-daughter. As these unrelated events start to coincide, the identity of Krista’s killer is also revealed.
