Plot : College Road Trip is an adventurous comedy, directed by Roger Kumble. The story revolves around Melanie Porter (Raven-Symoné), an overachieving high school student who dreams of becoming a public defender some day. She is elated about taking her first big step towards independence in the form of planning a girls only road trip to select the perfect college for her higher studies. However, her overprotective father James Porter (Martin Lawrence), who is also the police chief, insists on accompanying the girls on their road trip. As a result the supposedly fun trip is turned into a nightmare full of comical misfortune and turmoil.
