Plot : Adventureland is a comedy drama directed by Greg Mottola. The film revolves around fresh college graduate James Brennan (Jesse Eisenberg), whose dreams of a refreshing tour to Europe are shattered when his parents (Wendie Malick and Jack Gilpin), refuse to subsidize his trip. As a result he is forced to take up a lowly job at a local amusement park. He reluctantly prepares himself to spend a summer surrounded by loud-mouthed dads, stuffed pandas, and screaming kids high on cotton candy, instead of having German beer, visiting world-famous museums and flirting with cute French girls. However, to James surprise, his supposedly worst summer ever turns out to be quite adventurous as he finds love with his captivating co-worker Em (Kristen Stewart), with whom he loosens up and starts enjoying his work.
