Plot : “44 Inch Chest” is a rib-ticking comedy drama, directed by Malcolm Venville. This movie is all about Colin Diamond (Winstone), who’s a renowned car salesman and living a delighted life with his wife, Liz. But one day, his happiness gets converted into sadness when he got to know that, his wife is having affair with someone else, i.e. a French playboy. Then Colin’s friends provoke him to kidnap that Loverboy and revenge from him. Colin accepts to do this, as he was completely shattered by unfaithfulness of his wife. In order to restore his insulted ego, he locks his wife’s lover in a cupboard. He then humiliates him by subjecting him to intense physical and verbal assault. Then, 44 Inch Chest video illustrates those parts in flashback, which are affecting Colin’s present in adverse ways. The mixed feelings of anguish, shame, hatred, anger, which are going inside Colin’s mind, are also featured in movie on regular intervals. A time comes, when a kangaroo court gets settled up within Colin’s heart and he finds it hard to struggle with his own feelings of revenge, self-pity, remorse and grief. His friends, all the time, keep on pushing him out of this situation.
