Plot  : This film is an unusual romantic story, as it comes with a statutory warning of sorts. The movie says that this is a story where a boy meets a girl, but then, it is not a love story. What is unique about (500) Days of Summer is that it has employed a non-linear structure of narrative, which holds the viewer glued to their seats. The film jumps from one day to another, showcasing the relationship of Tom Hansen, the protagonist, who is trained to be an architect, but writes greeting cards; and Summer Finn, who has joined the office as an assistant to Tom’s boss. Even though Summer is a very ordinary girl, there is something about her that catches the eye, of not only Tom, but several other men too. Despite having a liking towards each other and an increasing closeness, Summer makes it clear to Tom that she only treats him as a friend and everything between them is just casual. But he tends to become a hopeless romantic and is heartbroken, when one day, Summer leaves him. Watch (500) Days of Summer to find out whether Tom would be able to get out of the depression and find out some meaning in his life or will he continue to sulk and lose himself because of her.
