The Kodak Theatre is once again ready to feel the heat of the celebs of tinsel town, as the most awaited event of the year is back! January 24, was the date when the nominations of the 84th Oscar Awards came into spotlight.

To host this grand ceremony, Eddie Murphy was the first choice of the producers, but due to some reasons, he took a decision to back out. Now Billy Crystal will be serving as a host of this grand event, for which every one waits eagerly.

Every year, the Oscars nominations come up with different categories such as Best Makeup, Best Visual Effects, Best Foreign Language Film and others. This time a few more exciting categories have been added to the grand list to make the upcoming event into a breathtaking one.

Apart from this, some movies have been nominated for multiple times, which include Hugo, The Artist, Moneyball and War Horse, The Descendants, The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and Midnight In Paris. You will be amazed to know that The Artist and Hugo have been nominated for almost 10 times.

The list of the presenters is colossal than expected, this year famous stars like Halle Berry, Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz. Gradually, Oscar season has been catching the people of this world, and perhaps, in a week the celebs will start making preparations for this grand event, which is expected to take place on Sunday, February 26, 2012!
