As Anne now feels that marriages are important events to celebrate life, she held a private engagement party at downtown Manhattan’s Housing Works Bookstore Cafe to celebrate their impending marriage with 125 guests in total.

In 2008, Anne Hathaway started dating Adam, following her separation from former boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, after he was found guilty of 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy and money-laundering.

Both Anne and Adam got together after separation from their respective boyfriend and girlfriend, and hence, there existed this strange kind of a distance between them even after they started dating.

Though they were together, love grew in between them gradually. Only after spending a bit of time away from Adam did Anne finally realize that she was in love like a fool.
